Screen Actor Workshop for Adults – Wollongong

6 week Course – Starts March 20th 2024 6pm-9pm

This class is designed to progress the actor in the craft of Screen Acting. Students will work with the highly trained Acting Coach, Yure Covich, to further their skills in Audition Techniques, Scene Work, Camera Confidence and Self Taping skills.

What’s in the class?

A healthy approach to Acting

Acting can be hard. It can also be extremely rewarding. This course is structured in a way that will challenge the student, with a healthy and constructive approach to learning.

It is important in this class that the actor feels supported and free to explore their creativity, while understanding the discipline involved to better themselves as screen actors.

Meet The Teacher Yure Covich

Since graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Yure has worked on numerous Film, Television and Theatre projects.

For the theatre, Yure has performed for the Sydney Theatre Company, Bevoir St, Griffin, Darlinghurst Theatre Co and The Old Fitzroy for Redline Productions.

Yure is able to bring a wealth of Screen Acting knowledge to the classroom, having appeared in multiple film project including Red Dog, Wyrmwood and Event Zero.

Recently, Yure has performed with Melissa Mcarthy on Netflix’s God’s Favourite Idiot and ABC’s Barons. For 2023 he will be appearing in the upcoming crime drama series The Last King Of The Cross for Paramount Plus, and will be playing in ABC’s The Messenger.
